Forever Birthdays Calendar

This is a simple "Forever Calendar" I made last night. I had a heavy piece of 12 x 12 board that I covered with a piece of 12 x 12 PP from Stampin' Up! sell-a-bration paper. It has all 3 of my most favorite colors from SU on it, so it was perfect. Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue. I found the fuzzy chip board letters at Archiver's in their 'hot spot' area for $1.99. I just smashed my Apricot Appeal ink pad over them to give them color and added some bling...that happened to match Bashful Blue!

Sorry the pictures are so great. It is really gorgeous when you see it in person...if I do say so myself. LOL!

Always

I used the Always set from Stampin'Up! and the PP from the Sell-a-bration set. Apricot Appeal is my absolute favorite color from SU. I also used my Craft Lite cutter along the edge of the card and image to give it a little different look.

I love hooters!

Owls...I'm talking owls. Geeze! A good friend of mine had a boob scare last week. She found a lump and obviously was thinking the worst. I think we all were, just because it's what women automatically do. Well, she had tests done on Thursday and found out THANKFULLY that she is just lumpy, nothing to worry about! YAY!!! I had this card ready to mail to her no matter what the results to let her know her "hooters" were on my mind.

Paper is all SU card stock. Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate chip.

Owl is a sizzix die I just had to have from Archiver's.

Michigan wedding!

So, my DH's foster brother and his wife to be are having a Michigan theme wedding. Mark is a hug Michigan fan and the colors of the wedding are blue and gold. This is a card I made for the shower. Had I purchased enough paper, I would have made this card a lot different. It didn't turn out like I had it planned in my head and I only had scraps to work with after messing up the first 2 cards I tried. So, this is what I made with my scraps. I bought paper from Bazill Bling. It's the first time I have ever used that paper, LOVE it!

2 Page scrapbook lay out

OK, I have been TRYING hard to get back into scrap booking. John loves to look at my books as much as the kids do, but I am so far behind, I don't know how I will ever catch up. One thing I did discover is that having premade pages makes it so much easier. I have decided to start making 12 x 12 pages ahead of time to use at a later date. This worked well for me 2 weeks ago when I got together with some very good girl friends to scrap. Some pages, like the ones below, I made on the spot. Certain occasions need certain papers and emblies that I might not already have on hand. We made a quick trip to Hobby Lobby and I got a winter pack of paper (50% off too). I have also decided to only scrap pictures I want to display...every pictures doesn't need to be scrapped. Maybe I will get back into this like I was before now. Here's hoping!
